Pearl E. Gregor, Ph.D, DREAMS ALONG THE WAY

Dreams are always in service of our life. Dreams come to tell us what we don’t know. Dreams come from the unconscious—our own and the collective. Dreams help us prepare for the next steps we are to take along our journey to wholeness. Today, you will learn how I healed through dream work, meditation, and journaling. It was a lengthy process over seven years. Seven is a sacred number and often our lives are contained in spirals of seven years. In those seven years of dreamwork, I learned a great deal about dreams and especially the language of dreams: symbolism. Come prepared to learn strategies you can use along your dream journey. Today I will tell you about one woman’s dream journey to many levels of wellness. The good news? Dreams provide you with volumes of inner world ideas. The bad news? You must do the work. No one else can. There is no pill. No doctor. No fancy food or drink. It is all you.

Corby Furrow, Tapping into Calm

Emotional freedom Techniques (EFT) or Tapping is like acupuncture for our emotions but instead of using needles we use acupressure. Some have referred to it as a hug for the nervous system. It uses a combination of cognitive and somatic techniques. You will learn about and experience this simple yet complex self-help tool. EFT is known to lower anxiety by 40% just by tapping for 15 min. You will learn how to use EFT as a self-help tool, when to use it and why to use it. EFT or tapping is the workhorse that enables stuck energy to get moving. You will have 5 tools in your tool kits to help with stress, overwhelm, anxiety, pain. After using EFT, even in an hour workshop, people say they feel lighter, less stressed, pain reduced and feel calmer.

Settling into Autumn

Taking a deep dive into the lungs and large intestines during this fall season. The season of grief and courage. Looking to balance these meridians we will bring into the practice the movement of air in the lungs. Strengthening through breathwork and releasing all blockages. Practicing twists and movement in the core helps stimulate the intestines to let go of any buildup of toxins. Bringing these elements into balance creates joy, acceptance, and a sense of relaxation with a hint of sound healing.

3:45pm-4:45pm

Gillian Verhey, Awakenpastlife.ca

Yoga Nidra is a form of guided meditation that involves deep relaxation and visualization techniques. It's designed to help you release physical tension and mental stress, allowing your mind and body to enter a state of deep relaxation and rejuvenation. "Nidra" is a Sanskrit word that translates to "Deep Sleep", referring to the state of sleep without dreams. It is one of the three states of consciousness that we all experience in our daily lives, alongside the Waking State and the Dreaming State. At any given time, we are in one of these three states - either fully awake, in dream sleep, or in deep, dreamless sleep. These three states correspond to the three levels of functioning of our mind, namely the Conscious, Unconscious, and Subconscious layers. Join Gillian Verhey as we explore these three states of consciousness; learn to deepen your understanding of the functioning of the mind and gain insights into your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Yoga Nidra, is a powerful practice that can help access the deep state of Nidra, leading to relaxation, rejuvenation, and spiritual insight.
